Last Saturday evening we met Van Dusens at Centennial Park for a picnic. Lee & Sylvie are a little more than a month apart, so it was fun to see them together.

We went down to Rob & Diana’s Friday night. Rob & I helped Doug Pair work cattle on Saturday and Russell & Delores came down that afternoon to visit.

Lee’s 4-Month Checkup
Today was Lee’s four-month checkup. He weighed 13 lbs. 11 oz. and was 25 1/2″ long. His weight dropped down to the 35th percentile and his length held steady in the 75th percentile. He gets to start eating cereal, so I’m sure there will be some good pictures to follow.
New Tech Toy
Last week our new video camera arrived. We ended up going with a Kodak Playsport. This is a pocket-sized digital video camera that is waterproof, records video in full-HD 1080p, and is only $149! With a 16 GB SD card we can record three hours at 1080p. It also allows you to take 5 MP still images (not that great, but comes in handy if you don’t have your regular camera with you). I’m currently conjuring up a way to mount this to my bow so I can capture some footage in the field this fall.
