The Mullen Cafe was owned and operated by Bud & Betty Gibson for 12 years.  Bud, Betty, and family resided in the apartment above the cafe until their house was built. The cafe is on the north side of the main street (NW 1st St.) It shared a common building with the pool hall to the east, which was owned by Floyd and Margarite Long. The cafe was sold to Verle and Elda Shears.
