Growing Memories
We’ve been working on finishing our basement for the past two years, and it’s finally done! It was a long process, but we’re really happy with the results. The carpet went in this July, so we’ve just been putting the finishing touches on it the past couple months.
The basement is getting closer. The mudding is done and only two rooms are left for ceiling stomp. Everything is primed and three of the rooms are already painted. We’re getting anxious for it to be done!

Last weekend Dad came up for the Nebraska Bowhunters’ banquet. While he was here I used his help for the better part of three days hanging sheetrock in the basement. We made a TON of progress, and I was able to send the drywall jack home with him, so that was my main goal. We ran out of rock, so we also hauled in another thirty sheets (ninety total so far). It’s getting there, I just have to keep after it. Thanks for your help this last weekend, Dad!
