Last weekend we vacationed in Estes Park, Colorado and also attended the Thompson Family Reunion. We had a great little cabin on the Big Thompson River just down from Estes Park. We visited Rocky Mountain National Park and took the Trail Ridge road up to the Alpine Visitor’s Center, which they closed the next day due to 3 ft. of snow. We also tried our hand at fly-fishing for the first time, and although we didn’t catch anything it was a fun experience. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed being outside taking in the beautiful scenery.
